ALPHACAM Shop Floor level is a basic viewer and limited-level editor for ALPHACAM drawing files. Shop Floor ALPHACAM allows machine operators and supervisors to examine the CAD files they are machining with options to run simulations, edit basic machine functions and use size and position reporting tools within a toolpath-included ALPHACAM drawing. Shop floor is generally intended as a companion system for manufacturers running higher levels of ALPHACAM at the design and engineering stage.

ALPHACAM essential is an entry-level CAD/CAM solution with an enclusive feature-set. With the ability to import dxf format files, create and apply machining styles to automate toolpath creation and on-screen nesting, Essential provides an excellent starting point at an excellent price point.

The Standard level of ALPHACAM has incorporated many previously higher level functions to its feature-set. With full 3D surface creation and workplane manipulation, solid simulation and the ability to create and edit 3D-3 axis toolpaths ALPHACAM Standard is 3D machining's entry level. Included are automation functions such as nesting by nest lists and auto styles for application of toolpaths by user layers.

ALPHACAM Advanced is the ideal, full-featured edition for 3 axis (and 3 axis with 4th axis fixed) machining. With all the CAD features found at the Ultimate level, Advanced offers sophisticated automation functions such as:

• Constrained parametric sketching for auto-generation of drawings
